The Black and White of Light-Vision Art

Date: 2026-05-30 — 2026-06-23 Organizer: 高承揚
This exhibition takes "The Black and White of Light-Vision Art" as its theme, exploring the creative meaning and inner emotions behind each work through black-and-white tones. In traditional concepts, "light" symbolizes positive, active, and bright emotions; "vision" represents the perception and feelings brought by sight; "art" carries aesthetic value and depth of thought; while "black and white" is often endowed with symbolic meanings of melancholy, calmness, or even pessimism. However, this exhibition deliberately subverts such established impressions. The creators attempt to break away from the framework where "color" is the sole tool for emotional expression, instead using "brushstrokes" as the core language for conveying emotion. Each stroke, each line, conveys the psychological state and inner fluctuations at the moment of creation. Even within black and white, rich layers of emotion and style can be presented.
Under the theme and emotional needs, the exhibited works achieve the most sincere expressive effect through meticulous control of color arrangement and light-dark contrast, conveying the artist's emotions and artistic conception to the viewer, thereby inspiring resonance and deep thought.
