Life's Treasure Map
Daily life consists of the things we do, think, and feel every day; it can be a period of time, a way of life, or a state of being. These seemingly ordinary lives shape our everyday days and also become the inspiration for artists' creations.
Through observation and perception of life, artists continuously layer and extend, connecting personal growth experiences or emotional memories with the people, events, times, places, and objects around them, turning them into thought-provoking works. When everyday objects are stripped of their original functions, daily observations or imaginations become actions for artists' contemplation, and creation becomes a process of treasure hunting, exploration, and experimentation for the artists.
Starting from discoveries and reflections in life, this exhibition explores how artists find inspiration from life. Through artists' observation, collection, collage, depiction, and installation of the everyday, using various media, it extends into different sub-themes and interactive operation designs. It guides children to explore various sensory experiences and emotional expression from life, to explore art from life, and to explore their own life treasures from art.
Participating artists: Li Ming-tse (李明則), Wu Ch'ien-i (吳芊頤), Wu I-hsin (吳怡欣), Wu Keng-chen (吳耿禎), Lin Cheng (林正), Hu Chia-yu (胡家瑜), Ch'en I-chang (陳奕彰), Tseng Li-chuan (曾麗娟), Chuang Hui-lin (莊惠琳), Teng Wen-chen (鄧文貞), Lu Chien-ming (盧建銘), Lo Chiao-ling (羅喬綾). Archival images: Chung Shun-wen (鍾舜文).
