Sakurako Nagano (anno lab): Between Landscape / Body / Language

Sakurako Nagano (anno lab)'s works span animation, installation, and painting. Her artistic practice stems from a delicate observation of everyday movements, rhythms, and the relationship between people and their environment. During her residency, she re-perceived the intimate relationship between local history and herself by depicting the urban landscape of Kaohsiung and interactions with residents. Through collected images, hand-drawn elements, and animation clips, she creates quiet and thought-provoking works. This exhibition is supported by the Pier-2 Art Center Artist-in-Residence Program (駁二藝術家駐村計畫) and the Fukuoka Asian Art Museum (福岡亞洲美術館).
