How About Lying Down First?
In this era of constant rushing forward, “standing” represents labor, alertness, and efficiency.
We have become accustomed to a posture perpendicular to the ground, yet we forget that the most relaxed and restorative moments are actually when we are parallel to the ground.
When you are parallel to the ground, the weight that usually presses on your shoulders quietly dissipates; the wall you once thought you hit, seen from another angle, becomes a window to the stars; the enormous fears shrink to a speck of dust on the ceiling.
“How About Lying Down First?” invites audiences to recalibrate their gaze and perception, slowly loosening the body and mind among the different works, re-experiencing the relationship between body, environment, and daily life.
If life makes you feel tired, lie down for a bit first, and get up when you are ready.
