"FACE" - Joint Exhibition of Hsu Yu-ying (許玉英) and Chen Yi-chin (陳羿今)

This exhibition takes "FACE" as its theme, using painting and diverse creative forms to lead viewers to re-understand the appearance of life from different angles, and to feel the warmth and imagination conveyed by art.
"FACE" means countenance, but the exploration of this exhibition is not limited to human appearance. The creators extend their vision to all things in nature, from the graceful postures of marine life, the moment of blooming flowers, to the quiet and true expressions of animals, all endowed with unique life expressions. Every line and every color in the works is a way for the creators to dialogue with the world, and also presents their observation and understanding of life. The two creators, Hsu Yu-ying (許玉英) and Chen Yi-chin (陳羿今), interpret the same proposition with artistic languages of different generations. Their creative styles and expressive techniques each have their own characteristics, yet both show a delicate feeling for life. From dreamy illustrations to natural imagery, from flat painting to cultural and creative design, different works intertwine with each other, showing the diverse and free possibilities of artistic creation.
