Adult Calligraphy Advanced Class

*Grip and Brushwork: Students will understand basic grip and brushwork methods and develop good posture.
*Eight Principles of Yong: Learn the basic brushstrokes of calligraphy - the Eight Principles of Yong: Ce (dot), Le (horizontal), Nu (vertical), Ti (hook), Ce (tick), Lue (long left-falling stroke), Zhuo (short left-falling stroke), Zhe (right-falling stroke), and Zhe (fold).
*Stroke Defects: Students will recognize and avoid stroke defects.
*Script Introduction: Students will learn the characteristics of oracle bone script, bronze script, seal script, clerical script, cursive script, standard script, and running script, and how to appreciate the beauty of calligraphy.
*Work Formats: Students will understand various calligraphy work formats to inspire creative desire.
*Inscription Knowledge: Students will learn the knowledge, placement, terminology, font, and seal usage of inscriptions.
