Workshop: Penghu County Government Cultural Affairs Bureau Choir Training

The Cultural Affairs Bureau Choir has been established for 29 years. During this time, it has won 5th and 4th place in the national top 24 of music competitions for two consecutive years, and in 2013, it won the Bronze Award in the Mixed Choir category of the National Social Group Choir Competition. It has also performed alongside international groups in three international choir festivals held in Penghu County, receiving praise from foreign choir conductors. On average, it holds one concert per year. To enhance the performance experience and standard of the choir, in recent years, it has secured partial funding for exchanges with foreign groups, visiting countries and regions including Idaho, USA; Hong Kong; Singapore; Japan; and Quanzhou, Beijing, Xiamen, Fuzhou, and Hangzhou in mainland China. This spreads the beautiful voices of Penghu people to more corners of the world and, most importantly, allows more people to know Penghu and promotes Penghu's tourism.
