With Her, Music Is Never the Same (有她，音樂從此不一樣)

This concert, titled "With Her, Music Is Never the Same," weaves together works by Fanny Mendelssohn, Rebecca Clarke, and Taiwanese composer Chia-Lin Pan, tracing a three-century lineage of female creativity. Featuring violinist Chen Yu-wen, violist Huang Kuan-chen, cellist Hsueh Ya-wen, and pianist Lin Ying-chien, the program includes a newly commissioned solo violin piece by Pan inspired by the island of Taiwan. Audiences will experience how music transforms from a passive spectacle into a vital response to identity, culture, and the changing world.
