In Southeast Asian folk beliefs, people become closely connected to the land through the steps of deity processions and pilgrimages. In Western culture, it is through pilgrimage routes, engaging in inner dialogue during long walks. Physical movement is not merely a change of space but a process of inward contemplation and rediscovering oneself.
The Guandong Branch has curated the theme book exhibition "Walking On, Returning to Oneself." Starting from Eastern and Western faith cultures, it invites readers to walk slowly through reading, feeling the power of walking between the pages. In passages of text and reflection, one meets oneself anew, rediscovering inner balance and direction.
