Chiang Chia-chen (江佳蓁) Piano Recital "Instant Sound Image: A Holographic Fugue of Structure and Freedom"

Pianist Chiang Chia-chen (江佳蓁) will present a recital at the National Taichung Theater's Playhouse, blending improvisation with structured works. The first half begins with classics by Bach and Chopin, leading into her own "Prelude and Fugue in G minor" and a new work composed during her Berlin residency (Taiwan premiere). The second half features four sections: free improvisation, poetic improvisation, audiovisual improvisation, and interactive improvisation, generating complete, unrepeatable pieces on the spot. This performance breaks away from the traditional recital format, allowing the audience to witness the creative process from inspiration to completion up close, and to experience a holographic fugue where structure and freedom intertwine.
