"Space Grandma" Musical

"Space Grandma" is an original Taiwanese-style musical produced by the Pingtung County brand performance troupe "Star Play." The story tells of legendary astronaut Shih Hsiao-t'ien (施曉天) returning to Earth in 2076, where she, her scientist daughter Shih Sa-ch'i (施颯琪) born from her frozen eggs, and her cyber spirit medium granddaughter Arri, who loves temple culture, three generations of women embark on a cross-temporal survival磨合 and family dialogue under the Dawu Mountain in Pingtung. The play blends explosive world music, folk rock, and operatic arias among other diverse musical styles, performed in a mix of Taiwanese and Mandarin, conveying profound cultural concern and local sentiment, combining entertainment and artistry.
