"Picture Talk, Heart Painter" Multilingual Mother Tongue Picture Book Reading Corner / National Hsinchu Living Arts Center
Summer vacation is coming, hurry up and join this cool activity where you can learn about foreign cultures~
👉6/30~8/30 (Closed on Mondays, exhibition area closed for maintenance from 7/20~7/29) A comfortable reading space will be set up in the "Aesthetics Hall" of this center, displaying "Picture Talk, Heart Painter - Multilingual Mother Tongue Picture Book Collection I, II", a total of 15 picture books. Based on the exhibition time theme, two themed accessories, "Country Map" or "Food Map", will be hung, providing the public with free entry to read and stick and play.
👉During the exhibition, 4 sessions [7/11 (Sat) morning, afternoon, 8/22 (Sat) morning, afternoon] of parent-child reading activities will be held. Professional lecturers will be invited to guide picture book reading, combined with country map (Picture Talk World Tour) or food map (Picture Talk Food Culture) for interactive games, and finally collage creation and parent-child reading Q&A, guiding parents and children to understand different cultures.
✅Target participants: Priority given to children from kindergarten middle class to 4th grade of elementary school and below. Each session is expected to recruit 10 groups.
