Migratory Birds (候鳥)

Zugvögel is a curated chamber music concert presented by Quintette Les Jeux d'Anches, using the metaphor of migratory birds to reflect the contemporary experience of moving between cities and homelands through listening. The program features works by Carola Bauckholt, Mendelssohn, Barber, and Zechariah Goh, performed by a reed quintet including Hsin-Pei Yu (oboe), I-Ching Chen (clarinet), Chi-Chun Chen (saxophone), Eugene Lai (bass clarinet), and Chia-Chi Wen (bassoon). Audiences will embark on a sonic journey that maps space, memory, and cultural belonging.
