As the pace of the city accelerates, "toward the wild" becomes a deferred but never extinguished longing.
"Leisurely Toward the Wild" brings together four young artists—Chang Ting-wei, Lu Chiao-chih, Shih Meng-hsin, and Hu Ching-wen—who, starting from their own life experiences, use painting, sculpture, and ceramic art to re-examine the connection between humans and nature. For them, nature is the light that catches the eye while walking, the traces left by soil, the postures of plant growth, and the feelings quietly collected in the flow of time.
Coinciding with the Minor Heat season, when all things flourish, the exhibition invites viewers to slow down for a moment, follow their inner rhythm within the realm constructed by the works, and slowly walk toward the wilderness that always exists in their hearts...
