Indigenous Peoples Environmental Education Permanent Exhibition
Environmental education is an educational process that emphasizes the relationship between humans and their environment. Through this educational process, the public acquires the ethics, knowledge, attitudes, skills, and values necessary to protect and improve the environment. Its goal is to develop, understand, and value a reasonable relationship between human culture and its biological and physical environment. The Taoyuan City Indigenous Peoples Cultural Hall aims to "preserve and promote" Taiwanese indigenous cultures. Through exhibitions that combine tradition and modernity with local life and art, it conveys environmental ecology and life knowledge. It is an important window for understanding indigenous knowledge and a key venue for learning and experiencing indigenous culture. From the hall's professional tour guides, participants can establish an environmental conservation mindset rooted in indigenous knowledge. This allows visitors to feel the close relationship between indigenous peoples, their culture, and the environment, while fulfilling cultural education purposes, making it an important facility for learning and experiencing indigenous culture.
