[Guided Tour Activity] Welcoming Good Fruits - Ta-tun Seal Society Members Joint Exhibition
Ta-tun Seal Society (大墩印社), under the guidance of instructor Liu Yen-ch'en (柳炎辰), consists of a group of seal carving enthusiasts from various professions in the central region. This joint exhibition of society members aims to use calligraphy and seal carving works to roam freely in the small world of square inches through the intertwined beauty of lines and text, arranging red and white while counting white as black. Through the interplay of emptiness and solidity in the composition, each seal carries myriad emotions. The beauty of text records feelings on the seal stone. Through reading and appreciation, one can feel the dialogue between each artist and the seal stone.
With the advent of the information age and AI, hand-carved cold seal stones become especially warm. The exhibited works are diverse in appearance, blending classical beauty into daily life. The art of text can be profound and weighty, giving traditional culture new life and value.
