"Flute Wind, Dance of the Pipes" Liu Chih-hao (劉志浩) Flute Recital

Taiwanese rising flutist Liu Chih-hao (劉志浩), active on domestic and international stages in recent years, has been highly praised for his delicate tone and sincere musical interpretation. Liu Chih-hao has won first prize in the International Music Competition Vienna and Amsterdam "Grand Prize Virtuoso" and first prize in the Asia Flutists Federation International Flute Competition.



This concert will feature classic chamber works by Jean-Michel Damase and Claude Debussy. Using the combination of flute, viola, and harp, and through the different timbral variations between the instruments, like a painting with delicate and colorful hues, it will present the refined and elegant colors of French music.



Furthermore, Liu Chih-hao will also bring classic flute concertos, including works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Carl Reinecke, and Felix Mendelssohn's "Violin Concerto in E minor" (arranged for flute). This will not only showcase the flute's agile and brilliant technique but also fully present its song-like, moving melodies and emotions.
