Chiang Tsun-hsiung Photography Aesthetics Education Gallery Permanent Exhibition
National Chi Nan University and internationally renowned photographer Mr. Chiang Tsun-hsiung (江村雄) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), announcing the establishment of a "Photography Art Museum" within the university library.
Photographer Chiang Tsun-hsiung provides his long-collected photography historical materials, precious artifacts, and classic photographic works for long-term exhibition in the gallery, dedicated to sorting out the historical context of photography and leaving a precious asset for Taiwan's image art.
Teacher Chiang Tsun-hsiung hails from Yuanlin, Changhua, and has been devoted to photographic art for over sixty years. In 2012, he was honored with the "double first" world ranking in the Art and Travel categories by the Photographic Society of America (PSA) and has been selected for the "World's Top Ten Photographers" for over 20 consecutive years. His career has accumulated over eleven thousand international awards, and he has been conferred with prestigious honors such as Master of Photography (MPSA). Teacher Chiang's works are diverse in style, showing high attainment in pictorial, ecological, and documentary photography. This collaboration with Chi Nan University, injecting his lifelong efforts and academic resources into the campus, holds great significance for heritage.
