"Between Words" Yao Szu-han Recital

"Between Words" is the homecoming voice of mezzo-soprano Yao Szu-han (姚思含) after years of studying in Germany, a multilingual sound journey spanning German, French, Russian, Spanish, English, and Chinese. The concert features pianist Chen Yen-ying (陳晏瑩) and narration by Ch'iu Yu-jou (秋郁柔). The repertoire traverses different cultures and eras, culminating with a work composed for her by her mother, Huang Wan-chen (黃婉真). The audience is sincerely invited to feel the profound connection between language and music.
