Deeply influenced by Judas Priest, Manowar, Black Sabbath, W.A.S.P., and Accept, the Finnish heavy metal and power metal newcomer BEAST IN BLACK arrives in Taiwan with a fierce impact in September.
Guitarist Anton Kabanen is the creative soul of the band, lead singer Yannis Papadopoulos is said to have a demon-king-level ultra-wide vocal range, bassist Máté Molnár is a high-achiever spanning economics, engineering, and music, and former Thunderstone drummer Atte Palokangas joins BEAST IN BLACK to bolster the lineup.

BEAST IN BLACK's songs are highly distinctive, perfectly blending traditional heavy metal guitar riffs with 1980s disco pop, electronic disco, and punk elements. This style, which makes people want to dance in a live house, is often jokingly called "disco metal" by fans.

Their 2017 debut album "Berserker" garnered widespread attention and climbed European music charts; their second album "From Hell With Love" received platinum certification and music award nominations. The band won "Metal of the Year" and "New Generation Metal" awards in 2022 and 2025.

BEAST IN BLACK's visuals and lyrics are inspired by the epic dark fantasy manga "Berserk" (烙印勇士) by Japanese author Miura Kentaro (三浦建太郎), which has been serialized for over 30 years and set in medieval Europe. From this, they created the band's symbol "Black Beast," and also extend their reach to sci-fi and social issues. The band's song "Enter The Behelit" combines with the famous dark fantasy action role-playing game (ARPG) Diablo IV, creating a vibrant and forward-charging atmosphere that immerses players in 100% drive. Fans can expect a stage presence with no dull moments and exhilarating high-pitched vocals, making metal fans eagerly anticipate the arrival of this metal superstar newcomer band on Treasure Island.
