2. Agricultural, Fishing, and Hunting Tools Area. Our country has always been founded on agriculture. The early life of our ancestors was mainly agricultural, requiring many farming tools. Tools used for plowing like ox yokes, ox muzzles, rakes, dustpans, bamboo hats, and turtle-shell hats, as well as bamboo baskets for tea picking and tea roasting cages, are mostly bamboo utensils, especially woven bamboo. Furthermore, fishing was also a livelihood in agricultural society. This area also displays fish traps (哥仔), fry baskets, shrimp traps, frog traps, fish weirs, and bamboo rafts for fishing, all made from bamboo, including life-saving tubes also made from bamboo.
3. Bamboo Carving Area. Bamboo carving is divided by technique into intaglio, relief, high relief, openwork, and three-dimensional carving. This area displays bamboo carving tools and works by famous masters such as Yen Cheng-sen (顏鄭森), Shih Hui-min (施惠閔), Lu Shih-chen (盧士珍), and other artistic creations.
4. Bamboo Weaving Area. Bamboo weaving primarily uses makino bamboo and thorny bamboo, with moso bamboo and ma bamboo used secondarily. This area displays exquisite bamboo weaving works by Chiu Chin-tuan (邱錦緞), Yeh Pao-lien (葉寶蓮), Huang Ju-ch'uang (黃如窗), Lin Hsiu-feng (林秀鳳), Li Hung-wei (李弘偉), etc.
