2026 Occupational Safety and Health Painting Competition Exhibition

Date: 2026-06-01 — 2026-06-12 Organizer: 115年度職業安全衛生繪畫徵選比賽獲獎者
In response to the annual "World Day for Safety and Health at Work," the Taichung City Government Labor Affairs Bureau launched the "2026 Occupational Safety and Health Painting Competition" starting March 2, 2026, inviting elementary, junior high, senior high/vocational, and college students from across the city to unleash their creativity and depict the diverse aspects of workplace safety and health with their paintbrushes. Through artistic creation, students are guided to pay attention to work environments and labor safety from their own perspectives, hoping to embed the concept of occupational safety and health from a young age and allow occupational safety awareness to sprout and thrive on campus. The winners of the "2026 Occupational Safety and Health Painting Competition" were officially announced on May 20, 2026.

Labor Affairs Bureau Director Lin Shu-yuan (林淑媛) stated that with the rapid advancement of technology, workplace forms have become increasingly diverse. To adapt to this trend, this year's competition specially expanded to include a "Digital Art Group" and, for the first time, extended the participant eligibility downwards to elementary and junior high schools and upwards to colleges and universities. Director Lin pointed out that every worker is a pillar of their family and an important asset to their company. Through diverse media and childlike creativity, children can not only understand the hard work of their parents' jobs but also allow the seed of "workplace safety" to take root and sprout in the hearts of the next generation, injecting warmth and vitality into promoting the city's workplace safety culture.
