2026 Ji-shi Calligraphy Society Calligraphy Exhibition (2026即是書會書法展)
The Ji-shi Calligraphy Society (即是書會) was founded in the spring of 2005 (Minguo 94), and is the calligraphy society in Miao-li County that gathers the most outstanding calligraphy creators. This year marks the 11th time the society has held a members' group exhibition at the Miao-li County Government Cultural Affairs Bureau, showcasing over 50 calligraphy works with diverse styles and unique characteristics. The exhibited works cover seal script, clerical script, regular script, running script, and cursive script, with formats including central scrolls, vertical scrolls, couplets, and horizontal scrolls; the writing themes are mainly classical poetry, incorporating Hakka proverbs, contemporary poems, and famous quotes. The participating members include Hsieh Yi-fu (謝奕富), Huang Feng-yi (黃逢毅), Lo Wen-tse (羅文澤), Li Hung-ming (李鴻明), Wu Kuo-yi (吳國毅), Hung Sung-mu (洪松木), Li Chung-yao (李重嶢), Yeh Hsiu-hung (葉修宏), Lo Sheng-lun (羅笙綸), and Chiu Shu-min (邱淑敏). Calligraphy enthusiasts and people from all walks of life are welcome to visit and offer guidance.
