2026 Houlung Cape of Good Hope Under Construction Music Festival

Since the year before last, the Houlung Township Office has regularly held the "Cape of Good Hope Music Festival" during the summer vacation. Due to its strong lineup of performers, it has attracted tens of thousands of people for two consecutive years, becoming a landmark local tourism event. Unfortunately, this year the venue is under construction; the original event site (Second Parking Lot) is closed for the project. Considering the difficulty of maintaining the event brand, the township office decided to adopt a construction-style visual presentation and create the "Under Construction Music Festival."
Although the venue is closed due to construction, a more attractive Cape of Good Hope scenic area will emerge in the future. This year's "2026 Houlung Cape of Good Hope Under Construction Music Festival" takes the theme "Passionate Houlung, Rock and Roll," hoping to use the power of music to lead everyone to look forward to the Cape's complete return the year after next, while sustaining the scenic area's tourism momentum.
The Houlung Cape of Good Hope Under Construction Music Festival will rock out starting at 4 PM on August 22 at the Hsin-kang Elementary and Junior High School playground adjacent to the HSR station. This year, it heavily invites six super-popular bands—TRASH, Fat Pang (怕胖團), Mango Jam (芒果醬), Ice Balloon (冰球樂團), Hu Kai-er (胡凱兒), and No Consent Cooperative (無妄合作社)—to keep the party going until 9 PM.
