To encourage the public to bring Taiwanese language back into daily life and pass on the mother tongue from generation to generation, the Miaoli County Government, in coordination with the Ministry of Culture's "National Language Overall Development Plan," has launched the "115th Year Miaoli County Taiwanese-Language Family Cultivation Plan." With the theme "Let's Speak Taiwanese Together (做伙講 Tâi-gí)," a series of intellectual, fun, and life-oriented parent-child co-learning courses have been planned, calling on families across the county to join hands, speak Taiwanese, accumulate hours, and win prizes!
The family is the best place to root the mother tongue. This year, adopting a strategy of "youthfulness, life-orientation, and parent-child co-learning," the July sessions will run from July 3 to 26, including 2 awareness-building sessions, 7 story/lecture sessions, 7 experience activities, and 3 walking tours, totaling 19 sessions. There will be children's favorite Taiwanese storytelling, awareness-building lectures to guide parents in building confidence, Puppet Theater (布袋戲) experiences full of traditional artistic charm, rush grass craft handcrafts carrying local memories, and ecological and historical walking tours in Miaoli. Registration opens simultaneously at 9:00 AM on June 25; spaces are limited, first come first served.
To attract more families to respond, a "Double Gift" strong support mechanism has been introduced! First gift: "New Member Registration Welcome Gift" - any household that newly registers and binds as a Ministry of Culture "Taiwanese-Language Family/Community" on-site and selects Miaoli County as their residence will receive a fine gift. Second gift: "Accumulate Hours, Win Prizes" - successfully registered Taiwanese-language families who participate together to accumulate the category course hours stipulated by the Ministry of Culture, complete the specified conditions, and pass the review will become certified "Taiwanese-Language Families" and receive a reward from the Ministry of Culture!
Everyone is welcome to register actively. Registration URL: https://www.beclass.com/rid=30527066a2ebbd9b05ae
