'115th Year Film Art Sharing Project -- Firefly Cinema "Night School Girl"'

"Night School Girl" (《夜校女生》) is a 2025 Taiwanese romance film directed by Chuang Ching-shen (莊景燊), written by Hsu Hui-fang (徐慧芳) and Wang Li-wen (王莉雯), and starring Chen Yen-fei (陳姸霏), Hsiang Chieh-ju (項婕如) and Chiu Yi-tai (邱以太). It was selected by the Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival Executive Committee as one of the award-winning works of the "43rd Outstanding Film Script" and tells the story of two female students from Taipei First Girls' High School's (北一女) night school and day school who both fall in love with the same boy.

Set in 1997, "Night School Girl" follows Hsiao-ai (小愛), a girl attending the night school of Taipei First Girls' High School, who becomes "desk mates" with Min-min (敏敏), a day school girl who uses the same desk. The two both come to like Luke, a gifted math-science class student. To skip class conveniently, Hsiao-ai changes into the day school uniform, which also lets her taste the privileges that day school students enjoy due to better grades. Unable to resist the allure of enjoying this halo, her life gradually spirals out of control.
